#GivingTuesday: Flexible Seating for Active Students

Help KDP fund a Classroom Teacher Grant for “Flexible Seating for Active Students”, a Classroom Manipulatives project by Erin Muffler. She teaches Kindergarten and has 6 years of teaching experience.

Application for Funding:

My students need flexible seating to meet their individual needs within the classroom. We strive to create a personalized learning environment where students have options that work best with how they learn. We need balance ball seats, floor cushions, and wobble seats as options for seating during the school day.

How the $150 would be spent:

The $150 would be used to buy 12 different flexible seating options for the classroom.   These seating options will allow students to activate core muscles as they do their academic work, therefore allowing the kindergarten students to get their “wiggles” out!
